A long ride but worth it for this busy Highland Games . This is one of our favourite venues in that we get a very warm welcome and far more food than we can actually eat. The Games Committee always make sure we are well looked after. The march is long and tiring but the welcome from the huge crowds makes the tired legs suddenly find a new lease of life for the march around the arena. Every band member goes home with a dram safely stored in their jackets as we march back to our waiting coaches.
One more stop on the way home at the award winning Fochabers Fish and Chip shop, where our trusty bass drummer, Stewart and leading Tip, Rebecca bravely lug no end of victuals for us all. The fish and chips are mouth watering and we have trouble clambering back into the coach after our huge meal.
